Amazing coffee. Tried a flavored red velvet latte, that turned out to be one of the best I have had. Was skeptical about it since flavored lattes tend to get sweet, but this was beautifully-balanced, hand-crafted one. Great ambiance too!

We had just finished a lovely 3 walking tour and needed a place to refuel. The staff was very kind to us and our broken Spanish. The drinks were perfect. The matcha frappe was not very sweet but extremely delicious and the latte frio had no sweetness and was equally delicious. The atmosphere was very nice and the decorations were a lovely addition. Would recommend to coffee drinkers. There were lovely looking desserts such as cakes but we did not have any.
Amazing, amazing place!! I highly recommend this beautiful place to anyone visiting Mexico City. My husband and I came back three times for their great coffee, food, and mixology. Their customer service is above and beyond anything I had experienced. My husband actually said Balam is like “hidden jewel” because their third floor is wowww! I can’t wait to come back. Highly recommended espresso coffee shop in the historical center of Mexico City. Fresh roasting coffee beans. Great and balanced body with fruity flavors. The location is extremely near the Zocalo plaza. There are many parking stations nearby. The staff is very kindly , smiley and multilingual. Hot spot for a quick espresso shot before you enter the historical center.
Yes please, circle back and hit me baby, one more time. Salted Caramel and bag of coffee, both were 2 thumbs up, need to borrow hands to give it more thumbs up. Staff was super friendly and the decor is very cute.
